Seattle, WA, 10/17/2011 - Snowboard companies have revealed their 2012 snowboard lines and Snowboard Sizing is here to award this year's "Sick Shred Stick" snowboard award. The top 5 snowboards have been chosen that have been pushing the progression of board technology, the best artwork, the most pop, edge control and is an overall great snowboard for all areas of the mountain.
Coming in at number one 2012 snowboard is the Lib Tech Skate Banana, which incorporates their amazing Magne-Traction edge and an awesome shape that does well from jibbing in the park to snowboarding the entire mountain. The second runner up is RIDE snowboards Kink, which includes their Pro-Rize Rocker. This rocker shape give great pop and is a extremely fun snowboard in the terrain park. Third is the Forum Young Blood, that comes in both the Chilly-Dog and Double-Dog models along with four base color combinations to choose from. The Forum snowboard has a lot of flex and is its edge is very forgiving. Number four is the 2012 GNU Park Pickle snowboard which has great edge control on all snow types because of the Mange-traction technology. Lastly, Burton snowboards makes the 2012 list of best snowboards with the Burton Whammy Bar that includes the V-Rocker shape and Super Fly core technology.
