Lucifer Furnaces is excited to announce that they have delivered a high temperature furnace for use with inert atmosphere to a leading domestic manufacturer of firearms with ISO9001 certification. For over 65 years, Lucifer Furnaces has manufactured high quality heat treating equipment and industrial ovens for businesses worldwide. Lucifer Furnaces' extensive product line includes industrial furnaces and industrial ovens suitable for a variety of applications including hardening, drawing, annealing, brazing, sintering and stress relief in both air and atmosphere.
The new 3027GT Model high temperature furnace, rated for operation up to 2750°F, is equipped with silicon carbide rod type heating elements mounted above and below the hearth providing uniform heat. The furnace is designed with a continuously welded furnace shell and the roof plate and door are gasketed to form a gas tight shell for operation with a positive flow of inert protective atmosphere. The 12”x12”x12” furnace chamber is ruggedly constructed, lined with firebrick and mineral wool block insulation. A silicon carbide plate mounted on ceramic piers provides a flat work surface supporting the high temperature work load while permitting thermal transfer from the floor elements. The furnace is supplied with a Honeywell digital time proportioning temperature control, selector switches, and tapped power transformer for energy efficiency and longer heating element life. A double-pivot horizontal swing plug door with gasket seals against furnace faceplate, reduces outside door temperature and keeps the hot face away from the operator at all times.
