The ProfitBoost Software web-based shop management system ( http://www.profitboost.com ) (SMS) has been upgraded to include CarfaxQuickVIN. With the upgrade, users can now retrieve the year/make/model and vehicle identification number (VIN) of their customers’ cars by entering only the license plate information when creating the repair order. The new tool is available free with ProfitBoost’s web-based software.
