The entertainment news and reviews website, Tuppence Magazine, is about to celebrate its second year online. Having grown from something small, it has evolved into a large hub for the latest news and reviews from the world of entertainment. With ten different sections – music, film, television and radio, books, computer games, theatre and comedy, art, food and drink, politics and fashion – it has delivered a new take on entertainment news that isn’t strapped to the conventions of mainstream media.
Launched on the 14th November 2009, the online publication started with just a handful dreams, a bag of bon bons and a cup of Bovril, but look at it now. It’s large and growing entertainment news and reviews content publications now range in their hundreds and its home page has even achieved its first significant advertising placement, bless its cotton socks.
Though the website is currently undergoing a reskin redesign, it remains as dedicated to delivering fresh and new high quality content for its readers. With the addition of its fashion sales, offers and discounts page it has started to give a little back to its loyal and tyrannical followers on Twitter and Facebook and its monthly writing competition continues to go as strong as it did when it first began in early 2010.
