World Wide Web – November 15, 2011 There is new opportunity coming to Wenatchee Washington for local businesses. Now, more than ever, after the new law I-1183 passed Wenatchee residents deserve an upswing in local buying and selling.
The new law made it illegal for private liquor store owners to sell liquor in Wenatchee Washington. Nine hundred workers at state-run liquor stores and a Seattle liquor-distribution center will be laid off by June 1, 2012.
Matt Santi who manages the baseball tournament event and media guide, feels strongly that "when one door closes, another one opens up" for opportunity. Liquor sales in the state of Washington may have just become privatized and many have lost their jobs, but there are new avenues of revenue available to tap in to and the time is now to prepare.
The New Media Baseball Guide is a great place for local businesses to advertise to outsiders and reach those folks coming to the event from around the country. The phenomenal state of Washington and the town of Wenatchee is expecting a large turnout, and there is hope. "Whatcurrently is not working needs to be changed,” states, Matt Santi.

Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA), launched the initial season in 1984, was the brain- child of Ron Golden and Roger Tremaine who had the vision of starting a new more user-friendly youth baseball organization. Its then and now is to provide more teams the opportunity to participate at the national level.
As the new kid on the block at that time, it was incumbent upon them to develop a program that would offer real alternatives, so the C.A.B.A. was the innovator in providing national level events for single age levels 9-18. In addition, the C.A.B.A. initiated round robin play leading to a double elimination championship bracket.
