JP Iscon to invest Rs. 400 crore in Vadodara

Gujarat's leading real estate developer JP Iscon Limited has, in a short span of two years, emerged as one of the biggest developers in Vadodara, where it had no presence before. It is in the process of investing approximately Rs. 250 crore in four projects in Vadodara, out of which two are close to completion and work is underway for the other two residential schemes. Company will invest an additional Rs. 150-200 crore over the next two to three years in residential and plotting schemes in Vadodara.
Elaborating on the Vadodara plans, the Managing Director of JP Iscon Ltd., Mr. Jateen Gupta said, "We take great pride in being the first builder in Vadodara to provide luxurious apartments in high-rise towers in large clusters with world class amenities. In fact, some major corporates have bought flats in significant numbers for their employees. Within two years, we have launched four high-quality projects and we plan to come up with more such projects in the city over the next few years."
JP Iscon has put up four projects spread over an area of 1.65 million square feet area for 900 apartments and 1.68 lakh square feet for 81 offices. First two projects, Iscon Heights - luxurious 3 & 4 BHK apartments and Iscon Atria - world class offices, were launched in February 2009 and today both the projects have been completed both and sold out. Strategically located on Gotri Road, Iscon Heights is within close proximity to modern conveniences and yet remarkably private.
In March 2010, the company came out with 'Iscon Habitat', comprising of 12 towers offering 2, 3 and 4 BHK apartments, spread over land area of 2.8 lakh square feet. Nearly 85% of the 440 flats in this scheme have been sold out and the project will be completed by mid-2012. The next project, 'Iscon Harmony', for 270 flats spread over 1,66,680 square feet, was launched in August 2010 and around 65% is already booked.
