Cloud computing provides user access to data storage, applications software and/or other technology services through shared configurable resources. This saves the user organization from having to invest, acquire, manage, and maintain its own computing resources in their office. Having data and business computing software running online rather than on office computers means staff can easily access them any time and any where there is Internet access – and from any device.
Web-based software availability adds up to less expense for the user organization, as cloud computing is typically less expensive than traditional methods. Traditionally, user organizations purchase software and install it on their company computers which involve installation time and utilizing space on their office servers.
