Branson and Sugar Confirmed as Keynote Speakers for Business 2012
Two of the UK’s best-known and most admired entrepreneurs, Sir Richard Branson and Lord Sugar, have been confirmed as keynote speakers at what is being called the “UK’s greatest business event”, Business 2012.

December 8th 2011 - Running for 3 days from 18TH - 20TH March at The O2 in London, Business 2012 is free to attend, with 600 workshops, seminars and exhibitors and 50 keynote speakers, this important business event is intended to support anyone who is serious about growing or developing their business.
Speaking about Business 2012, Sir Richard Branson said:
"I will be at Business 2012, being interviewed live on stage and answering questions and your tweets. No one has a monopoly on good ideas and I hope events like this will open the door to greater connections and business opportunities: something we all need during these challenging times.”
Confirming that he too will be a keynote speaker at Business 2012, Lord Sugar said:

Business 2012 is for people in the early stage of starting up as well as for established businesses. About Lord Sugar
After leaving school in Hackney aged 16, Sugar started selling car aerials and electric goods out of a van he bought for £50. In 1968, he founded Amstrad, and now, over 40 years later, he has an estimated worth of £770 million, and was ranked 89th in the 2011 Sunday Times Rich List.
A former Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur FC, Sugar sold his Amstrad empire to Sky in July 2007. Sugar's other companies include AMSCREEN, which offers digital screen media advertising networks, AMSPROP, a property investment firm and VIGLEN, a manufacturer specialising in computers, networks and solutions.
In 2000, Sugar was knighted for his services to business and he holds two honorary Doctorates of Science degrees, awarded by City University and Brunel University respectively.
Having previously sat on the Business Council for Britain and fronted a campaign promoting the benefits of apprenticeships, in 2009 he was named as Enterprise Champion and appointed to the House of Lords as Baron Sugar of Clapton in the London Borough of Hackney.
Lord Sugar is a philanthropist for a number of charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Jewish Care.
