LONDON and MILAN, 21 December 2011 -The social trading network that’s taking the world by storm is now enhancing trader interaction with the introduction of a live discussion feed to its assortment of socially oriented features
As the eToro investment network grows and develops, it is becoming increasingly clear that the social aspect of trading has direct consequences on trader performance. Since the launch of eToro OpenBook, over 60% of all trades opened at eToro are opened through the OpenBook social trading platform. Thus far, eToro traders have been able to interact on eToro OpenBook through each others’ profiles, the live trading feeds and of course eToro’s groundbreaking feature, the CopyTrader. Now, OpenBook is enabling traders to follow the general buzz on the network through a live discussion feed that brings all current discussions to the user’s attention.
The live discussion feed is now available on OpenBook next to the other live feed tabs that include the general feed, the top 100 feed, and the watch list feed that updates users about the trading actions of the traders they follow. This latest addition to the feeds provides an easy way for traders to keep their ear to the ground and to stay on top of the latest investment community news. No one trader can stay tuned to all that’s happening in the world of global finance, but in a community of users chances are that if you’ve missed a juicy piece of news, someone else is talking about it. OpenBook’s live discussion feed is the tool that enables forex traders to stay connected to each other and to the world of finance.
“It’s important for traders to keep in touch with the community, and not just with the traders they follow,” said eToro CEO Mr. Jonathan Assia. “Even though, you can technically try to follow every single forex trader on OpenBook, the easiest way to keep in touch is through a live feed that concentrates all the information flying around the network in one place.”
With the launch of the live discussion feed eToro forex traders are more empowered than ever to harness the collective potential of the OpenBook social trading community.
