Signworld has grown to become a force to reckon with in the sign industry. Many new Signworld locations have been opened across the country in last few months. To keep all owners updated with recent industry trends and address their concerns, Signworld holds a public webinar once a month. This public webinar is open for anyone to call in and learn more about Signworld in a fairly low-pressure way.
Emphasizing on the importance of these public webinars, Jack Warner said, "These webinars play a vital role in our business model. These are not just a platform for information dissipation but also help in bringing together all Signworld owners at a single location, so that they can interact and gel with each other and move ahead as part of a family, supporting each other with their area of expertise wherever required."
In the webinar they were asked about the recent success of the different Sign owners. Replying to this Jack Warner said, “We have 250 independently owned sign companies. Some of our recent success stories include Sam Schudi, Ramsey of Minnesota recently wrapped a food cart that won 1st Place for the Best Display at the 2011 World Amusement Park Show. Steve Carroll of New Jersey was named the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce. Paul Jester of San Diego completed a $41,000 project consisting of 922 signs for the County of San Bernardino's new Juvenile Assessment & Detention Center. There are various other examples to show the hard work done by the Sign owners. All these show our recent success”
A prospective owner spoke up and asked, "What is the resale potential of this type of business?”. Jack Werner, responded with, "As we all know, manufacturing sector operation always have a higher resale value than its counterparts in other sectors like distribution, service and retail, therefore sign business definitely has a higher resale multiple. Most of our re-sales are done at close to full asking price and happen very quickly and in majority of cases it is a local competitor who grabs the deal in order to expand his business. The monetary value may be different for every operation, based on how big you want to grow the business but potential for a high resale value compared to other business sectors is definitely on cards."
