YouTube Floored by Ziimeo?
YouTube Floored by Ziimeo?
Ziimeo is an interactive travel video sharing website, just like YouTube. But unlike its giant ancestor, Ziimeo places more importance on freedom and interaction. If YouTube users are limited to uploading videos only, Ziimeo zooms past by letting its members upload not only videos, but also images, music, and games.

YouTube has long been reigning in the video sharing industry. It is currently the top online destination that users flock to for video watching and sharing. As it grows every day, users also expand their service expectations to greater levels. With the rise of other video-sharing websites such as Ziimeo that offer other benefits that are nil in YouTube, more people change their preferences in terms of the website that they would want to adhere to. In a fast-changing world where the less innovative are left behind, it might be wise to ask this question: Did YouTube forget to launch other highly interesting features that online viewers and uploaders would lala-love to get their hands on?
We don’t know the exact answer to that question yet, but I sure wouldn’t want to guess. All we know is that compared to other up-and-coming video sharing websites like Ziimeo, YouTube pales considerably. There are certainly a lot of features and user activities that are noticeably missing in YouTube. The latter simply limits one’s activities to uploading, commenting, embedding, and sharing. Should there be other more interesting events other than that, do let us know.
Ziimeo is an interactive travel video sharing website, just like YouTube. BUT (emphasis on the exception) unlike its giant ancestor, Ziimeo places more importance on freedom and interaction. If YouTube users are limited to uploading videos only, Ziimeo zooms past by letting its members upload not only videos, but also images, music, and games.
Did anybody already mention interaction? Well, it’s worth mentioning several times. Ziimeo allows its community members to conduct forums with other members within the site. It also gives the option to “befriend” users from all over the world by adding them as a friend on Ziimeo. Cool, huh?
Ziimeo zones in on travel geeks from different parts of the globe. With its unique Travel Blog, users can acquire different information and stories revolving around Travel in general. Are you looking for a budget accommodation in London, Paris or Rome? Check Ziimeo Travel Blog. Do you want to know how you can book a villa in France? Check Ziimeo Travel Blog. Are you loyal YouTube user who is on vacation in New York and in dire need of hiring a car? Create a free account in Ziimeo and check its Travel Blog. Ziimeo offers a virtual travel map that YouTube does not have.
Both websites offer good entertainment, but which site offers rewards and compensation for the original contributions of its members? You got that right! Ziimeo does not only take and take media contributions from users. Ziimeo rewards their efforts by holding exciting competitions and giving away great prizes that will make you drool. One of which is a 7-day accommodation for four adults in the classy Villa Pantai in Bali, Indonesia, with a pocket money of US $1,000 to spend on your free vacation.
Ziimeo is not giving YouTube a run for its money, but it offers a precious handful of features that are sadly unavailable in the latter. If you are not yet a member, go ahead and register so you can give Ziimeo a try. You wouldn’t want to be stuck in the same old rehashed hokey-pokey of an age-old website. As they say, YouTube may be too big a doughnut, but Ziimeo is slowly nibbling, nibbling, nibbling away.
