TShirt printing company Custom Your Shirt has introduced a new online tshirt design service enabling you to design your own Tshirt or polo using your own design, or one of their stock designs along with your own text.

Custom Your Shirt and sister company TOctopus utilize a number of printing techniques, such as screen printing, flock printing, direct digital techniques, sublimation transfer and plot printing to make sure that the correct printing method is used to suit your fibre and your design.
The printing method used for your online Tshirt design will depend largely on the order size and the fabric involved. Larger orders can warrant the use of screen printing, where a silk or synthetic fibre screen will be created to enable ink to be squeezed through the screen in the required design for each colour: this is more cost-effective for single-colour designs and the screens are expensive to produce - hence the need for longer print runs.
Shorter runs are produced using digital printing technique which should be washed in cool water for short wash cycles. However, they are still very durable and generally outlast the life of the Tshirt's use.
