(Phoenix, AZ) 12 January 2012 – Arizona-based AE Interlock Paver Design has announced the addition of travertine stone to the range of materials used in the construction niche of hardscape solutions.
Travertine stone is a calcerous stone – or a form of limestone – that is extracted from areas close to mineral-rich hot springs and rivers. Since the Ancient Roman times, it has served as a building medium for its appealing physical features and functionality. It was mined for erecting edifices, aqueducts, bath complexes, and other . Ryan A Armistead, AE Interlock Paver Design owner, said that the company's addition of travertine stone is a welcome idea because it lends variety to mediums used in paving patios and garden paths. “When refined, polished, or given the shiny finish, travertine can equal the elegance of its more expensive counterparts. This may be the reason why it is one of the most frequently used natural stones in modern architecture.”
