www.TrackStuffNow.com is a website to create start pages for any topic for instant bookmarking. The service provides a highly readable page with feeds from the most authoritative sources for any keyword you can provide on a single page.
Start pages save time and increase productivity and serve as a knowledge platform by bringing together the best online sources for a particular topic on a single page. “Unlike other start page services which work on a limited set of keywords, TrackStuffNow works for ANY keyword or topic however general or specific it is” says Derren Wilson, co-founder of the service.
Using the service is simple. The user types in a keyword like “Basketball” or “Politics” and the service immediately finds and populates a page with headlines from feeds from a hundred sources on one single page.
You can make the keywords as specific as you want. For example, you could like Basketball a lot but are a Michael Jordan fan and therefore could be looking to find bloggers who talk a lot about him. Multiple keyword sets are possible as well.
Derren also says, “We will soon be coming out with a completely customizable page which allows you to create a start page specific to a category of news you have in mind. You will also be able to share this publicly if you want“.
The search algorithm that finds the relevant sources works in real time and is completely democratic and without human bias. The resultant sources therefore are a combination of Blogs, Web Sites, Forums or even feeds from Aggregation services like Google News and are sorted in the order of authority. The service has already been beta tested and worked on from feedback from the users of TrackThisNow, another service founded by Derren.
