Gulf Atlantic Industrial Equipment, Southeast's leading industrial equipment supplier today announced that they hired Mike Andrews, a new representative for North and South Carolina. The company has been in this industry for a considerable number of years and has been serving customers in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, the Caribbean, and Australia. For a wide variety of applications, the company has been supplying innovative solutions in both efficient and cost-effective ways.
Mike Andrews has had vast experience in concrete industry and will be highly effective in representing Gulf Atlantic in North and South Carolina. Previously he operated his own concrete company, Winyah Concrete and Block. The company which had just one plant and eight trucks with about $100,000 in sales has seen an incredible growth throughout the coming years with which it developed into a firm with five plants, sixty-five trucks and sales of 22 million dollars. From 1973 through 2000, Mr. Andrews has been working as president, CEO and chairman of the board at Winyah Concrete & Block Co. Inc., and holds good reputation in the industry.
Being a highly knowledgeable businessman, Mike worked as an operations manager and consultant for the last ten years. The new position as sales representative for Gulf Atlantic Equipment has brought excitement to him and he's now ready to bring his valuable experience to assist in the steady growth of the company with his extensive industrial knowledge.
