Second Image Printers and Copiers, a New Zealand-based company, has introduced a scheme of half price Ink cartridges and Toner cartridges in the month of May 2010. It is offering Canon BCI 21 & BCI24 (Two black and one color) cartridge at only $17.50, Hewlett Packard C4096A toner cartridge for the HP LaserJet 2100 & HP LaserJet 2200 series of printers at $85, Hewlett Packard Q2610A toner cartridges for HP LaserJet 2300 series of printers at $99.
Set up by David and Carol Hickman in 1994, the Second Image is in the business of providing alternative unbranded printer cartridges without compromising on their working. The company claims that its suppliers have the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, which ensure the quality of products. In case of toner cartridges, the SMTC standards are applied.
The company offers almost all types of ink or toner cartridges compatible with those of the famous brands. Ink cartridges are compatible with those of Brother, Canon, Hewlett Packard, and Epsom brands. The fax toner cartridges and copier toner cartridges of the Second Image are compatible with those of Brother, HP, Kyocera, Lexmark, Oki, Samsung, and Xerox. The company also sells printers, copiers, and faxes of different types if these are available in stock. It also sells different types of paper, including A3, A4, A5, address labels, inkjet magnetic paper, glossy paper, and A4 greeting card matte.
Besides, the company also offers printer servicing and the associated software, tools, and accessories, such as the cleaning kit, compressed air can, cling and magnetic photo frames in packs of 3, USB Flash drive, and inks of different colors.
Second Image also prints plastic cards of the size of a credit card. The customers can make a choice of features, such as colors, card graphics, Bar Code, Magnetic Stripe, One- or Two-sided print or scratch off panel.
The company follows a strict policy of ‘Zero Waste’ essential for the interest of the environment and sustainable business operations. By reusing and recycling the waste materials to the maximum possible extent, the company claims that paper, cardboard, glass and plastic bottles, scrap metal, and polystyrene never go to the landfill sites. The company supplies paper produced from renewable plantations. It encourages customers to return the empty ink or toner cartridges.
To increase the customer confidence in its products, the company follows a money-back guarantee. If the customer is not satisfied, he or she can either opt for replacement or refund. On repairs, it provides a 12-month guarantee on all parts except the fuser unit in the laser printer (where the guarantee is for six months). The company promises that the repairs would be done within 2 days, beyond which, it will not change anything. If, for some reason, the parts are not available, it can supply you a printer or print for you.
The company promises to deliver the products free of charge overnight on placing an order on its website for a minimum order of $40.
