Apollo's World Class transportation team announces major technological and training advancements after attending the industry LCT Show in Las Vegas, NV this February 12 -14. Four members of the Apollo executive team attended intense training and meetings at the MGM Grand with thousands of other industry professionals and leaders. Meetings were geared towards advancing Apollo's Worldwide Chauffeured Network through team builders and key meetings, learning new industry trends and discovering the use of new technologies to integrate with Smart phones, Androids, etc. that will benefit clients.
"It is extremely important for us as a company that we are constantly gaining new insights that will benefit our clients. The use of Smart Phones and Androids is a trend that is growing exponentially on a daily basis and Apollo is committed to stay abreast of these modernizations for ease of bookings, efficiencies in chauffeur controls and overall company success." states Mauricio Urbina, VP of Operations. Apollo is currently in contact with several technology companies and has plans to eventually have its own customized App that can be downloaded to ease booking, locate chauffeurs and access accounts with more mobility.
Nikki Curry, Apollo's new worldwide Affiliate Manager, made her debut at the LCT Show and met with several industry peers to gain insights into the different travel markets that have arisen as hot spots for the Apollo Clientele. "I'm very excited to be joining the Apollo team in this capacity and I look forward to making the client's experience consistent no matter where they travel." As Affiliate Manger, Nikki's main goal is to ensure brand consistency throughout the different markets around the nation, as well as handle any requests or concerns that inbound Affiliates may have as it relates to the South Florida market.
All attended the State of the Industry meeting which was facilitated by Publisher & CEO of the LCT Magazine, Sarah McLean, who was immediately followed by Key Note Speaker, Founder & CEO of Mandalay Entertainment, Peter Guber, and former CEO of Sony Entertainment, George Rose, who motivated the team with his real life experiences of his personal and business failures and ability to overcome obstacles to create a product and service of quality and longevity.
Other sessions were attended by Russ Winters, Apollo's long term Operations Manager, such as the Chauffeur Hire & Training session facilitate by former President of the National Limousines Association (NLA), Mr. Jeff Greene.
The highlight of the event was the lunch provided by our industry software provider, Limo Anywhere, which outlined a new App "Driver Anywhere" which assists with the overall, behind the scenes, dispatching functions. The client is directly benefited by the efficiencies and visibility that is gained by this tool," says Mauricio Urbina, VP of Operations. One of the features of Driver Anywhere pertains to better visibility and GPS tracking and more hands free approach to driver/office communication.
