A strep throat diagnosis 4 years ago brought far more than Teri ever could have expected. “What happened was that the antibiotics I was prescribed depleted the good bacteria in my GI system resulting in C-Dificile. That was the beginning of my downward spiral.
In the days, weeks, and months to come, Teri was overrun by fatigue, memory loss, lack of focus, and was barely able to concentrate. She adds, “If I wasn’t so exhausted all the time, I would have been paralyzed from my inexplicable symptoms of disorientation, blurred vision, red swollen eyes, respiratory problems, weakness, and pains in my GI, neck, and jaw. My neck would actually creak and I was constantly fighting sore throats, cough, mood swings, irritability, and even hair loss! I was getting desperate.”
Teri’s family doctor was unable to identify the cause for her endless barrage of maladies. Teri explains, “She had sent me to innumerable specialist in Chrohn’s disease, Celiac, MS, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia.
