“One of the best ways to explore the natural wonders of the canyon and the South Rim National Park is through a Grand Canyon Jeep tour,” according to Sagos.
Currently, the company promotes two guided jeep tours. One option is the Colorado River Jeep Expedition which is a full-day jeep tour to the bottom of the Grand Canyon where you enjoy time by the banks of the famous Colorado River. This tour operates year round and includes lunch. Pick up directly at your hotel at the South Rim, Williams, or Flagstaff.
Another option for visitors to the Grand Canyon to consider is the Painted Sky Sunset Jeep tour. A jeep guide will pick up guests at any Tusayan area hotel in the afternoon (exact pick up time will be confirmed at the time of booking). The South Rim jeep tour lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours. Customers are transported along a scenic National Forest road with great wildlife viewing. The jeep guide drives to the best spot along the South Rim where participants enjoy the spectacular sunset into the canyon. (Mid March through mid November only)
