For all those who are tearing their hair out trying to get their kids to brush their teeth; try the new kids' toothbrush- The Dancing Brush. This product was recently added as an entrant in Walmart's Get on the Shelf content.
The toothbrush has a weighted hemispherical base with a lightweight body and is balanced to have a low center of gravity. Thus the brush always props itself to an upright position, even when laid down. Kids who generally hate brushing their teeth find this brush to be fun to play with as it wobbles back every time someone tries to lay it down.
"Dentists have always said that the best way to get kids to brush their teeth is to make it a fun experience for them. This Dancing Brush can be used to convince children to brush their teeth. Another advantage of using this brush for kids is that they are often careless and leave their brush lying around the wet sink. We all know that the wet sink breeds millions of germs, some of which are responsible for the spread of deadly diseases," says Ilya Abdurakhmanov, the brainchild behind the Dancing Brush.
"But rather than disinfecting kids toothbrush in disinfectant solutions, it makes sense to use the Dancing Toothbrush," adds Ilya. Contrary to popular belief, dipping toothbrushes in disinfectant solutions isn't advisable. In fact doing so can actually increase the risk of cross contamination. They should also not be disinfected through dishwashers, microwaves, and ultraviolet devices. The Dancing Brush is a safe method to keep harmful bacteria at bay.
Besides kids, adults too can use this brush, especially when travelling and unable to carry their toothbrush holder. The sink surfaces in public places like hotels and airport sinks is a breeding group for a wide variety of germs. The moist conditions are a breeding ground for germs, and it is important that the brush is maintained in an upright position to allow the moisture to drain off and prevent possible contamination.
