After a successful May 1st Bronx, NY store opening event, Fashion To Figure (FTF) will partner again with The VH1 Save The Music Foundation to celebrate the opening of a new FTF location in Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Brooklyn, NY. On Saturday June 5th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., FTF will cut the ribbon on their newest store and invite shoppers to celebrate the opening of their first store in the Brooklyn borough. FTF will be donating 10% of all sales from the day to The VH1 Save The Music Foundation in support of their mission to “ensure that every child has access to a complete education that includes the benefits of music instruction.” VH1’s Save The Music has facilitated children’s music education in schools across New York, donating $2 million of instruments to 78 schools in Brooklyn alone.
“We are excited to open in Kings Plaza Shopping Center and become part of the Brooklyn community, sharing our FTF Experience with local guests. Our commitment to supporting our stores’ local communities is a core value of FTF, and we are thrilled to continue our partnership with VH1’s Save The Music to raise awareness about the importance of music as part of children’s education” said FTF Co-Founder and CEO Michael Kaplan. He continued, “We were delighted to have the opportunity to make a contribution to Save The Music. We look forward to serving the Brooklyn community and making people’s lives better through providing them with the ultimate full-fashion shopping experience.”
As with the recent Bronx store opening, FTF is pleased to announce a donation of 10% of all sales from Saturday June 5th to The VH1 Save The Music Foundation. Representatives from the Save The Music Foundation will also accept direct donations at the event. Guests are invited to shop, enjoy complimentary light refreshments, and enter a raffle give-away to win a guitar courtesy of Save The Music, as well as gift cards from FTF.
