While Dr. Leong injects a variety of fillers in different areas of the face, he prefers injecting Restylane™ in this location because it provides a very reliable and consistent result.
2. Botox® Cosmetic to the crows feet and the lines between the eyebrows – Botox® Cosmetic is the perfect approach to smooth the smile lines and the wrinkles between the eyebrows. Patients of any age who are beginning to notice the effects of aging around their eyes, particularly those that wish to avoid the time and expense of surgery.
What other techniques are available to revitalize the eyes?
Some patients may benefit from outpatient surgery to correct particular issues around the eyes. For example, “Ideal Eyes” can elevate the eyebrows somewhat and for a temporary period of time (4-6 months). However, if the patient desires a more substantial and permanent elevation of the brows, a surgical browlift should be discussed. Is the “Ideal Eyes” non-surgical treatment uncomfortable? How much down time is possible?
Patients find the treatment to be very tolerable. Numbing cream and ice can be used if the patient desires to further ease any discomfort. Very little downtime is usually experienced, generally with patients able to resume normal activity immediately. However, as with all injectables, mild bruising is possible.
