HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Apr. 10, 2012 – The Continental Group (TCG), a FirstService Residential Management company, will host the “De-Mystifying Condo Insurance” expert panel seminar about insurance issues for Condo Associations in 2012; presented by FirstService Financial and Willis of Florida, for condominium board members and residents. Registration for the “De-Mystifying Condo Insurance” seminar will start at 6 p.m. and the panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18th at the Bristol Tower located at 2127 Brickell Avenue, Miami, Florida.
As the leading Florida property management company, TCG shares best practices not only in the communities it serves, but in the community-at-large, to help enhance Association Board effectiveness and efficiency. During the “De-Mystifying Condo Insurance” seminar experts will discuss the topics of the insurance renewal process, policy options, risk management, claim handling, appraisals, financing and disclosures.
Focused on the improvement of financial conditions for associations, the seminar will provide attendees with information on best practices and innovations. Participants will gain tools and direction on how to help reduce insurance costs and expand coverage, access to proprietary programs, better terms and conditioner and acquire favorable pricing.
The panel presentation will be hosted by the Brickell Homeowners Association and moderated by Andrew Lester, Senior Vice President of FirstService Financial. Panelists will include Armand DiNapoli, Vice President of Willis of Florida; John Lee, Vice President of FirstService Financial and Juan Cordoba, Wells Fargo Insurance.
