Dynamsoft Corporation today announced a major release, version 6.0, of Dynamic Web TWAIN, a TWAIN scanning plug-in specially optimized for web applications.
Dynamic Web TWAIN allows users to scan files from any TWAIN compatible devices (scanners and cameras) and edit images in the control. HTTP(s) upload/download to file system and databases is supported as well as FTP(s). With Dynamic Web TWAIN, developers are literally relieved from studying the 664-page TWAIN specification, since the same work can be done within several lines of code.

More exciting features are introduced into the new version, including barcode detection, improved HTTP(s) and FTP(s) upload, loading and saving as a byte array, selecting and managing multiple images.
