Monmouth Golf Club has stunning views over the Wye Valley which stretches through Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. It is the perfect venue for a society day or casual green fee ( http://www.monmouthgolfclub.co.uk ) with the warmest welcome you will get at any golf club.
The clubs motto is "arguably the prettiest golf club in Wales", this is no understatement either. The golf course itself is a par 69 and is a mature parkland which was founded originally in 1896. It boasts a thriving membership who are renowned for their warm welcoming of visitors.
When you arrive at Monmouth Golf Club you can take advantage of the fantastic home cooked food which must be sampled before any round, just tell yourself it will help with the walk! The breakfasts are so good you will find it hard to leave the clubhouse. When you finally drag yourself away from the food you will find a friendly welcome from Richard Ballard the PGA Club Professional, here you can pay for your green fees and stock up on tees, balls, drinks and sustenance ready for the round ahead.
For anyone who struggles with any form of disability it is a good idea to hire a buggy for your round as Monmouth Golf Club has many undulations to navigate. Buggies can be hired for a small fee and they are state of the art electric buggies which are as quiet as a mouse.
Monmouth Golf Club ( http://www.monmouthgolfclub.co.uk ) has six beautiful par 3’s which cannot be missed, if you mark a golf club on the par 3’s it offers then Monmouth will be one of your top favourites. The one thing a golf club like Monmouth can boast is almost eighteen holes you must play and cannot resist.
There are several membership options available at Monmouth Golf Club ( http://www.monmouthgolfclub.co.uk ) from full 7 day through to holiday membership for players who visit the area several times during the year but live too far away to become a full member. The membership prices are also very reasonable with you being able to play the course pretty much anytime you want.

About
Monmouth Golf Club was formed on the 25th June 1896 and is regarded as one of the prettiest courses in Wales. There 18 holes at Monmouth Golf Club but it only previously had 9 up until 1992 when land was purchased to extend it to the full 18 holes.
