The new SunSource Home Energy System is a simple way for homeowners to capture the benefits of solar power. Solar energy generated from your SunSource System is first used to operate your air conditioner or heat pump. When your heating and cooling system is not in use, the solar energy can be used to operate other appliances and electronics. Any excess power created by your system will be sent back to your utility company, possibly entitling you to a credit.
The cornerstone of SunSource is a high efficiency Lennox air conditioner or Lennox heat pump available from Premier Indoor Comfort Systems. These units are solar- ready and will be powered by solar modules which are installed on your roof. You can start with one module and add up to 15 panels as your budget permits. Each SunSource Module has its own scaled-down microconverter that converts solar energy into usable electrical power.
