Merise arrives as the new friend for the South African residents staying in Australia and New Zealand. It's the latest bilingual magazine in the Australian & Kiwi markets available in both English and Afrikaans editions, especially for the SA people who are staying miles away from their own homeland.
"We are here to support both the existing and new South African immigrants who have left their homeland in search of livelihoods Down Under. Merise is aware of the difficulties and thus lends out her helping hand to assist experienced and fresh expats in their struggle for survival in a foreign land", commented a spokesperson from Merise magazine while asked about their vision.
The Merise logo displays the impression of an ascending aircraft between the letters which as per the statement of the spokesperson illustrates Merise's wish to reach up to the stars. "The very name 'Merise' is symbolic as when you divide it that comes 'me rise' which implies man's desire for improvements in life", the spokesperson noted. The first edition of Merise was launched on 1st December, 2011 in both English & Afrikaans
The Afrikaans magazine Perth covers almost every topic around. The readers here would be able to read on fashion, beauty, travel, health, society and more. Merise writers have also focused on the new car launches as well as exotic cooking recipes.
"Merise is enthusiastic and vivacious & is always looking for new experiences and fresh challenges which she loves to share with all her friends. Thus, the Merise readers would be receiving information on every aspect of life. Moreover, we would even notify you on the upcoming events like a get-together or high tea parties around", narrated the manager of Afrikaans magazine WA.
The Merise official further stressed that they share the identical quality and amount of information in both their English & Afrikaans versions. The Merise magazines are distributed through the different South African stores around New Zealand and Australia. Subscription offers are available as well.
