Alliance Association Management, an Associa company, congratulates Monique Williams and Veronika Evans on their Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designations from the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM), an affiliate of the Community Associations Institute.
The CMCA designation is a valued accomplishment in the community management industry. Managers must complete CAI's Professional Management Development Program course, the M-100: Essentials of Community Association Management. This course covers topics ranging from facilities management and community government to risk management and financial management. Once the manager has completed the M-100 course, they must then pass a comprehensive exam before earning the CMCA designation.
"Monique and Veronika showed their dedication to their professional development by earning these impressive designations," said Alliance President and CEO Rody Timmons. "They have taken an active role in going beyond homeowner's expectations for Austin association management."
Williams has more than 10 years of account management experience. She joined the real estate industry in 2007 as a property manager for a mortgage company where she specialized in pre-foreclosure and REO properties, before moving to Alliance where she currently manages single family, condo and commercial associations. Previously, she was an account manager specializing in business development.
Evans joined the industry in 2010, where she began managing condominiums and homeowners associations in Central and South Texas. She specializes in high rise and commercial association management, and is an active member of the Austin CAI chapter. During the 2011 and 2012 Community Awards galas, her communities won 12 awards, including two Community of the Year awards for Barton Creek Townhomes and Vista Park, Financial Stewardship for Cardinal Lane Condominiums and Green Community Trendsetter for Sunset Ridge.
