St. Claire Medical Introduces New Team Member: Office Manager, Luisa Tolentino

As one of New York City's fastest growing new medical practices, St. Claire Medical relies on a unique approach: to serve a patient-centered medical home - a place New Yorkers can go to get and stay healthy. In keeping with that mission, the practice is now announcing the addition of a new team member: Office Manager, Luisa Tolentino. A woman who has fully embraced the values and vision of St. Claire Medical, Ms. Tolentino took a moment to explain what she hopes to contribute to the practice.
"When Dr. St Claire first contacted me and explained the project he had in mind, I could not wait any longer to become part of it," explains Ms. Tolentino. "I come from a family where over six members became successful doctors, and medicine was part of my life since early childhood." Ms. Tolentino, who graduated with a degree in Marketing from Pontifical Catholic University in Santiago, Dominican Republic, went on to explain what sets St. Claire Medical apart from other practices.
"When I decided to study Marketing, I had one goal: to understand people's needs and creating a product or a service that will fulfill them - to make people feel that their opinion, interests and feelings were taken into consideration," explains Ms. Tolentino. "That is what we do at St. Claire Medical. I treat people the way I want to be treated, and make sure every interaction is performed with compassion, dignity and respect."
The doctor behind St. Claire Medical, Dr. Elbert St. Claire, also took a moment to explain his decision in bringing Ms. Tolentino on board. "From the moment I met Luisa, I knew she was the right person for the job," explains Dr. St. Claire. "Beyond her strong Customer Service background and consistent professionalism, Luisa demonstrates a remarkable level of compassion and sees every person we treat as a unique individual. This is exactly what our practice is all about."
Ms. Tolentino has attended several trainings in Excellence in Customer Service, Effective Supervision, Leadership for Service, Interactive Administration and Online Marketing. She played an important role in the certification for Customers Operations Performance Center (COPC) for an internationally recognized telecommunication company.
Asked to speak on what it means to be a member of Dr. St. Claire's team, Ms. Tolentino concluded with this. "I am so happy to be a part of St. Claire Medical. Each day, it gives me the opportunity to serve the men and women of our community in a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere."
