These day's fireworks get used to celebrate many different types of events; birthdays, weddings, new year's eve as well as traditional celebrations such as 4th July, Chinese New Year & Bonfire Night and even funerals. So why not add anniversaries to that list?
Advances in firework design means that you can now choose a particular coloured effect firework. This is fantastic for anniversary celebrations. The most popular wedding anniversary is the 50th (Golden) and there are a great range of fireworks manufactured that produce an aerial extravaganza of golden stars. The most popular golden effect is the Brocade effect. This is where there is a large golden star-burst high in the sky followed by hundreds of gold stars that cascade towards the ground. Other current popular effects are gold stars that produce an effect like a spinning wheel in the sky. As fireworks for anniversaries tend to be required to end the event, a relatively short spectacular firework is what is required. The single ignition firework is an ideal style of firework for the general public to use themselves. This type of firework is a firework display in a box, in most cases you just place the box on flat ground and light one fuse. From this one box you will get a continuous aerial display lasting around one to two minutes. The effects are fired up to around 100 foot in the sky and can be fired either vertically or in a fan shape depending on the style chosen. The set up and firing of this type of firework is very easy and the debris produced by them is minimal and bio-degradable.
If you want a longer display for your anniversary then several of these fireworks can be combined and can even be fired by remote control, making it easy to have them as a surprise at the end of a party.
There are considerations that need to be accounted for. Firstly, If the land you are not letting the fireworks off from is not your own i.e. a hotel or restaurant, you would need the owners permission. Secondly, you will need at least 25 metres viewing distance and you need an area to let the fireworks off without overhanging trees or cables over where the fireworks would be. Thirdly, some countries have a time by which firework displays must be finished by, so you will need to abide by that.
