Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, has announced immediate availability of Exar's expanded low power connectivity portfolio.
The company's February issue of Future Technology Magazine, published on a monthly basis and highlighting new products, includes a feature on Exar's expanded low power connectivity portfolio. The 3.3V USB series includes single, dual and quad channel UARTs, and all support BUS and/or self-powered applications. The RS-232 transceivers include AUTO ON-LINE, which allows devices to enter a low power shutdown state when the data cable is removed or if there is no activity on the bus. The transceiver automatically wakes up when the cable is connected or the remote device sends data.
