Searching the Web is one way to find more information about online education, but there are other possibilities. You might call colleges and universities of interest and ask if they offer online education programs. If there are postgraduate educational institutions near you, start there.
You should also check your neighborhood library for directories and other printed guidebooks about online education. Many books identify institutions offering online education courses, degrees, and certificates. Some of these list both accredited and unaccredited universities and may or may not distinguish between the two types. Others only list programs from accredited schools. If you cannot find current editions of online education directories, ask a librarian for help. Sometimes, publications can be obtained through interlibrary loan. A few examples of different types of books on online education are noted below.
