Here's something exciting for the St. Charles based parents looking for a quality engagement for their kids this upcoming summer vacation - Studio Gallo Blu has announced about their month long summer art camps for children this June. The leading Tuscan style art studio gallery café is known to offer art classes for adults and children.
The St. Charles café-art studio is an effort by Kate Franklin, an experience painter herself. She is into art practice for more that 30 years now and holds specialization in landscape painting. While speaking about the upcoming Summer Camp program from Kate's studio, the Gallo Blu spokesperson remarked that the camp would cater to children from different ages, ranging from 6-13. The program will comprise of 6 camps and each of the camps will continue for a week from Monday to Friday.
"Our upcoming summer camp will include lessons on a number of art subjects. The first one is Castle Camp where the kids will be given step by step guidance on architectural drawing & portrait design. Then we will also have fashion designing classes where the kids will learn on positioning fashion figure & simple sketches. Canvas painting would be taught as well with acrylic paint", said a spokesperson, while speaking about their June art classes for children.
Added to that is the Mixed Media classes in the camp to guide students on performing with varied art objects like watercolor, clay, acrylic, pastel & cut-out designs. The camp is starting from June 3, 2013.
Kate has been offering semi-private lessons for adult art classes, apart from the children. Both the adult and children art classes offered at the Tuscan style café art studio involves lessons on Acrylic painting, oil painting, pastel, watercolor, charcoal drawing and pencil drawing. Special classes are available for Canvas and Chianti.
"Don't miss out on our café this summer which is famous for deliciously fresh gelato ice-cream" said the spokesperson, when commenting about Kate's café.
