In a press release , company spokesperson Anirban Banerjee talks about how the economic slowdown has allowed companies to become more productive from smaller offices. “It is a known fact that several companies in a growth phase had to go slow on their trajectory due to the slowdown. It is amazing to notice, how, with minor adjustments within the office, these companies have become much more productive than they were before.” said Banerjee. “The myth that only larger offices or larger organizations needed the services for property optimization has been turned on its head” added Banerjee.
Idream has setup a cell to focus on such small offices as the demand for space optimization within such offices increase. Productivity increases due to a variety of factors like better cluster reorganization, shared spaces, less time spent on traversing, line of sight management and other factors unique to the given space.

The focus here is to maximize the usage of space by assigning specific space for specific tasks at the planning stage.” added Banerjee.
Banerjee went on to add, “Maximize every inch of storage space. For example the storage can be planned in such a way that space for CDs or files are the exact size of a CD or a file and a multiple of the same. No wastage occurs in such a situation. Form should always follow function. Also some space can double up for different tasks. Furniture that are compact, easy to move and serve multiple purposes are the best way to maximize space.”
