Macronix has introduced the new-generation Single-Level Cell (SLC) NAND Flash, featuring high performance, extended industrial temperature range, stringent reliability demands, and product longevity support.
Macronix's new-generation Single-Level Cell (SLC) NAND Flash, utilizing 36nm floating-gate technology, has been developed in the company's state-of-the-art 300mm fab. The new SLC NAND family is offered in densities from 1Gb to 4Gb in both 3.0V and 1.8V voltages, extended industrial temperature range with product longevity support from Macronix-owned wafer fabs. Macronix has also unveiled NAND-based Multi Chip Package (MCP) solutions, to provide customers a complete portfolio of NAND Flash products. These NAND and MCP products are targeted at a broad range of applications for the embedded and wireless markets.
Key features include ONFI 1.0 compatibility, industrial temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), high reliability with 100K program/erase (P/E) cycle endurance, SLC NAND performance with 25μs random access, and 25ns sequential access. Package options include industry standard 48-pin TSOP, and 63 ball VFBGA packages.
Applications include consumer wireless networking, automotive, and industrial.
