San Diego, California, United States (prbd.net) 14/07/2015
According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, "A violent crime occurs every 26.2 seconds and property crimes occur every 3.5 seconds." To help people on emergency situations, iHelp app is to be launched on December 15, 2015. It is the world's first emergency communication app to recognize user's voice in emergency situations.

"The App technology is activated by voice recognition when user speaks the word, "iHelp", or an alternate pre-programmed phrase. Upon activation, the application immediately queries the Global Positioning System (GPS) to acquire location information, and then records that information," Says Ayman Saleh, owner of iHelp.

iHelp application is directed to a mobile application for emergency communications. The App can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play.

He continues, "The application acquires the appropriate emergency dispatch number based on the acquired location information, places a cellular telephone call to emergency services, creates a recording of the situation, and transmits a pre-recorded or generated voice message in the appropriate local language, providing the user's location information."

The application also responds to simple voice commands, such as "Ambulance" or "Call police" by locating and placing telephone calls to these entities. All voice recordings, and data acquired or created by the application are transmitted to and stored within a database, maintained on the server of a managing entity for the application, and available for retrieval. Any attempt to deactivate the application after its activation will require a password. Thus an attacker or other unauthorized person cannot disable the application.

"With iHelp, people can be now safe alone in home, office and any area that is a place for incidents to occur. Follow us on Twitter @iHelpapp and like us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/IHelp/867611616608714 to stay connected with upcoming iHelp events and progress," Saleh added.
