GulfCoast Business Finance, Inc. (GBF) was established in 1982 as St. Petersburg Certified Development Corporation to assist the City of St. Petersburg in providing financial and technical assistance to small business.
We work with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Community Reinvestment Fund (CRF), and private-sector lenders to provide long-term, fixed asset financing whose terms are oftentimes more attractive than conventional financing.
GBF has transitioned its financing programs today to include the SBA 504 loan, Community Reinvestment Fund, New Markets Tax Credit and Small Business Emergency Bridge loan programs.
Additionally, GBF provides technical assistance to small business, banks, and community organizations. We conduct educational seminars, host lender training sessions, and provide referrals to other small-business resources to help with financial and technical assistance.
