Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, a Fairfax Lutheran Church, recently released an announcement of their Fall events at their preschool. Fall events are exciting with fall themed activities for kids and parents to enjoy together.
The leaves are falling, the weather is changing! It is Fall at Christ Lutheran Preschool. We sponsor the children's Halloween Party on October 30 and 31, where parents and other family members are invited to see the children perform. Earlier in the month, children, teachers and sponsors take a field trip to Ticonderoga Farm on October 21 and 22, where the children will pick pumpkins and get into the Fall spirit. Then they will make pumpkin muffins on October 24-25. Sounds good, right? In a world of things that make children and even adults anxious, our preschool teaches a calm and centered approach to the changes of family life.
Christ Lutheran Preschool operates under a "co-op" model, which is a great way for parents and families new to the area to meet other parents and children. It is also a great way to learn from your parent peers! Christ Lutheran Preschool is a diverse community of children from multiple racial, cultural and national backgrounds.
It is still not too late to enroll your children in one of Fairfax's long-recognized preschools. We have room on most days in our 2s, 3s, 4s and pre-k classes. You can find information at www.fairfaxchristlutheran.org, or by calling our Preschool Director Virginia Trygstad at 703-273-4094. We are located in Fairfax City at 3810 Meredith Drive, 22030.
