"“We believe that customers shouldn’t have to pay a high price for quality Travel Insurance and to be rated as a Best Buy is a great endorsement of that fact.”"
Which? is the Independent Consumer Watchdog that’s been campaigning for the right of the consumer in the UK for over 50 years. Each year, Which? publish their Travel Insurance report to help consumers choose the best cover for their holiday.
They compare and review 196 bank, travel agent and internet travel insurance providers and analyse over 3,500 quotes to help consumers save money and get the cover they need.
Once again they have named Simple Travel Insurance as a Best Buy in no fewer than 8 categories.
Ian Campbell, Senior Product Manager for Simple Travel commented, “We’re very pleased that an organisation of the standing of Which? has recognised the value and quality that Simple Travel Insurance offers its customers.” He went on to say, “We believe that customers shouldn’t have to pay a high price for quality Travel Insurance and to be rated as a Best Buy is a great endorsement of that fact.”
None of the major high-street Travel Agents were named as Which? Best Buys for Travel Insurance and a Which? report earlier this year found that of the 29 Travel Agents mystery shopped, none were competitively priced.
When commenting on this report Martyn Saville, Principal Researcher at Which? had this advice for those people booking their holiday through a travel agent “In most cases you’d be better off buying a Which? Best Buy insurance separately.”
