"The "Girls Of PB" Calendar - A Part Of the PB (Pacific Beach) Reality Show To Hold Bikini Contest To Promote Good Causes."
As part of the ongoing search for the most beautiful women of Pacific Beach, the "Girls of PB Calendar" will give $1000 to the first place winner of a bikini contest to be held at Typhoon's Saloon on August 12th. The calendar is part of the PB Reality Show, produced by Jim Lawlor, known locally as the "PB Millionaire". It's just one aspect of the reality show but "an important aspect", says Lawlor, "it draws attention to the show and creates a lot of drama" which brings attention to his good causes. Lawlor, a self-made millionaire, who gained his fortune through inventions, is now inventing a new type of reality show. The "formula" is the millionaire lifestyle, his beautiful assistants called "Angels", the legendary parties at the PB Castle (his home), and the constant influx of gorgeous women who are vying to be in his calendar and ultimately win the $5000 Grand Prize as Miss Pacific Beach. Last but not least, the show includes his philanthropic work especially with the homeless of San Diego.
Homeless himself for awhile when he first moved to San Diego some 18 years ago, he painted houses to support himself as he worked on his invention - a type of safety goggles used for spray painting. He slept in his car and eventually a tiny office where his bed was a futon. He put all his time and energy into his goggle invention which ultimately made him a millionaire.

The bikini contest will be at 7:00PM on Thursday, August 12th at the Typhoon's Saloon, 1165 Garnet Ave., San Diego, CA. This event will be filmed and be a part of the first episode to air this September.

But the things Lawlor is most famous for in San Diego are his legendary parties and millionaire lifestyle. A self-described "bachelor for life" he enjoys giving his guest a "total experience that they will never forget". He says "it's all about giving whether it be to a homeless person or a guest at my party"
