Marblehead, MA, Septemper 1, 2010 - You might think there’s something fishy about this North Shore restaurant, and you’d be right. Located just north of Boston, in a region often referred to as the “Gold Coast,” Three Cod Tavern boasts a diverse menu featuring fresh fish and seafood, including cod, from which it takes its curious moniker.
Menu items include much more than seafood, however, with dishes ranging from appetizers such as crab stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, and beef tenderloin skewers; soups and salads including their signature Three Cod Clam Chowder and Dill’s Famous Lobster Stew; and entrees featuring seafood, steak, and house specialties, such as Washington’s Lobster Casserole and Spirit of ’76 Scallops. The lunch menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches and “rolls.”
