Sep 17, 2010, Bhubaneswar, India: President & CEO of Mindfire Solutions, Mr. Chinmoy Panda was invited as the Guest of Honor to inaugurate the Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) and the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP), sponsored by The National Science Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Govt. of India. Chinmoy delivered the keynote address at the event held on 16th September 2010 at KIIT-TBI, KIIT University.
KIIT-Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI) organized WEDP and EAC at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar, India. The main objective of the program was to provide first hand information to student community, youth and working professionals with an aspiration of becoming entrepreneurs and motivate them to opt for entrepreneurial career and provide a comprehensive entrepreneurship development process especially to aspiring women entrepreneurs. Over 200 participants at the event comprised of Science and Technology graduate students, students in their final years of Engineering and Management.
The inaugural ceremony of the EAC was done in the presence of Prof. A.S. Kolaskar, Vice Chancellor, KIIT University, Mr. K.L Rao, Director, Ministry of Small Medium Enterprise (MSME), Govt. of India, Mr. Chinmoy Panda, President & CEO, Mindfire Solutions, Dr. M Suar, CEO, KIIT-Technology Business Incubator, and Dr. Snehasish Mishra, Camp Coordinator, EAC-TBI, KIIT University.
While delivering the keynote address on the topic “Addressing the Roadblocks to your Success”, Chinmoy touched upon the journey through which he had been through and shared examples from his experiences in front of a captivated and enthused audience. “If sharing one of my experiences can help budding entrepreneurs to make one mistake less in their path to success, I would ensure I tell all of the hundred problems which I have faced in my journey”, said the CEO, Mindfire. “The intention of this session is to motivate the audience towards entrepreneurship and inspire them to take initiatives and I hope the objective is met.” he added.
