We are happy to advise that we are now in the very final stages of our German operation and things are coming together and slotting into place just as they should, there are just a few more finishing touches to add and last minute tweaking before going live and this means all of our customers living in Germany will have their very own Dance Direct website complete with German Customer Service Advisors to help and assist with orders and queries about their dancewear, whether it’s help with leotard sizing or which Pointe shoe would suit better for different aspects of training or even to advise on the latest funkiest urban dancewear, that’s what we are here for, and now that’s first class customer service for you! As well as Dance Direct in Germany we are also in the process of implementing the Euro currency website which will be in English so that English-speaking dancers working abroad or dance teachers who have moved from the UK to set up schools in warmer climates like Italy, Spain or Portugal; will be automatically directed to the Euro currency website of Dance Direct to enable them to order their dancewear seamlessly, under the currency they use on a day to day basis, we wanted to eliminate all of the conversions our customers previously had to do to see what they’d spent and so that now, the price they see is the price they pay.
Last week we launched the French Back to School promotion, we left this one a little later because the school term starts a little later in France than here in the UK. All of our French customers will be able to grab themselves a bargain with their dance leotards, cheap ballet tights and a great selection of dance shoes for all different dance techniques, from contemporary to ballet and tap dance.
It’s been ‘all change’ just recently to our in-house team here at Dance Direct; one of the girls in the warehouse has taken time off for maternity leave and another team member has gone into partial retirement and returning in a part time position very soon, we have a new recruit, who has joined the warehouse team in a permanent position to help keep our pick times speedy and accurate, and he’s been very busy replenishing all of our dancewear super quick because our ballet shoes, dance leotards and cheap ballet tights are all flying off the shelves and on their way to our customers who are all going crazy getting things ready for back to school and their up and coming auditions and performances.
