The latest film to join the long list of sequels in Bollywood is the roller coaster comedy 'Double Dhamaal'. The movie is a sequel of 'Dhamaal' which had an all male star-cast of Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Ashish Chowdhry. However, the sequel has the much needed additions in terms of the glam quotient with the entry of miss long legs bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut and the ever-so-very-much in news actress Mallika Sherawat.
This movie was launched on the auspicious day of Janmashtami by Aamir Khan and Anil Kapoor, at Mumbai's Mehboob studio. Mallika who is very upbeat about being cast in the movie, has expressed her liking for her hunky co-star Sanjay Dutt by calling him handsome on Twitter. She will be playing Sanju baba's wife in the movie. Meanwhile, basking in her 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai' success, Kangna Ranaut will play the role of an alluring secretary who will go all out to seduce her boss.
The movie is being directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria under the Maruti International banner. Shooting for the movie begun on September 1, for which Los Angeles based hottie Mallika Sherawat has flew down. The film is scheduled to release in mid 2011. Talking about the movie, director Indra Kumars says, "We don't want to make a proposal and cheat the audience in the name of a sequel." This can be seen in terms of the efforts that the director has put in the movie by going over 12 scripts before finalizing the current one. Kangna Ranaut is overwhelmed with the fun she is having on the sets of the movie and exclaims, "The guys always want to have fun! They even make fun of ME!" While veteran actor Sanjay Dutt says that the entire star-cast is like a family and the atmosphere on the sets is very comfortable and fun loving.
Sometime back there were also rumors that 'Kismat Konnection' beauty Vidya Balan might be cast in the movie, and also that Arshad Warsi was disbanded from the sequel. But all proved to be wrong, as the entire star-cast along with Aamir Khan and Anil Kapoor (for the exception of Mallika, who had just arrived in the city then) were present for the muhurat clap of the movie.
