The Back to School special offer has now finished where we were promoting all the basics for dance classes, including cheap ballet tights, cheap ballet leotards and pink ballet shoes. We have seen some considerably large orders from dance schools stocking up on children’s leotards and ballet pumps.
We are currently working on our next promotion which will be launched around Bank Holiday weekend; this will be a one off short term discounted offer on ballet tights across the range. This launch will be just in time for dancers returning to school, college or dance classes so it will be the perfect time to stock up on tights for the coming school term and every dancer will know that you can never have enough tights. It’s typical that the last pair of tights will ladder either in a rush to get to ballet class or on the night of a performance a dancer in a hurry to change costume might accidentally put a perfectly manicured nail through the leg. With these great offers, there’s no excuse for dance teachers, parents of dancers and dancers themselves not to stock up on these essentials. Customers will have to be quick because this crazy special offer is available for one week only from the 22nd August to the 31st August 2010, flyers and emails have been sent giving all of the details. Nobody wants to miss out on children’s ballet tights at only £2.36.
As well as our great ballet tights offer, we are introducing a new range of super funky leggings in eight different styles for urban dancers and for performances. These will also look trendy on nights out with friends, for dancing the night away in clubs and for any other time people want to look a little bit individual and stand out in a crowd. The eight different styles to choose from are; a leopard print, a funky gold pattern, denim look jeggings, ripped or slashed look (which are all the rage with celebrities at the moment), fluorescent fishnets in colour pink and more.
After the tremendous success of our last Facebook competition we will be running another competition to reconnect with the dance community after what’s been a long summer. So our customers should keep their eyes peeled for details coming soon, they really wouldn’t want to miss out on getting their hands some funky free dancewear to show off to their friends and fellow dancers.
We are also busy gathering samples for our next Dance Direct catalogue (Issue 13) which we are bringing forward a little bit for next year so we have our work cut out until then. We are revamping the entire concept with the help of our new full time Graphic Designer who has a huge job ahead by improving the details of our dancewear products given on the website. Here at Dance Direct we know how hard it is trying to visualise what something is going to be like when you order over the telephone or the internet so we are adding as much information as possible so that our customers get a feel of what our dance leotards or ballet tights are really like with more detailed photos and 3D presentation.
