October 01, 2010 -- Phoenix, AZ - Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy announces the opening of their ninth clinic located in Grayhawk. Foothills Sports Medicine is a full-service physical therapy company. They specialize in hands-on, results-based physical therapy healing for chronic and acute pain, back/neck/shoulder pain and injures, auto injuries, sports injuries and more. They also offer a special Rapid Recovery® program, which is a free 15-minute injury evaluation.
Many patients have already benefited from the Rapid Recovery® program. There are no obligations and the free evaluation gives the person an opportunity to learn the best “next step” to recovery – whether it is a visit to the physician, physical therapy or simply a home exercise program.

Foothills Sports Medicine is locally owned by Michael Basten, PT, ATC/L, CSCS. Treating patients at the new clinic will be C’mack Hozhabri, PT, MPT, CSCS. C'mack graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2002. He has worked in several outpatient orthopedic sports settings and joined Foothills Sports Medicine in January 2007. His treatment philosophy includes a genuine interest to help people reach their functional goals. C’mack is a strong believer in manual treatment techniques and he enjoys developing activity-specific programs for patients to achieve optimal results.
Other services the clinic offers are Foothills Acceleration and Sports Training (FAST®) for athletes of all ages and levels of ability, small group classes; which focus on circuit training, stretching and core strength, and personal training.
